The inaugural 2022 “Café & Educação” was attended by Morena Leite, responsible for food at the campus and, as of this year, at the Berlioz and Villa units. The chef and her partner Adriana Drigo founded Capim Santo, considered one of the greatest contemporary Brazilian restaurants in the country. The brand has become a reference and currently takes this soul to school meals.
With breakfast served in the auditorium of the Campus unit, the families of Early Childhood Education were invited to answer their questions about the choice of food, the school’s nutritional policy, and how to encourage their children to try new flavors and textures.
Morena Leite talked about the care in the selection, preparation, and presentation of food, and the training of teachers to help in this process of accepting snacks and lunches at school.
Capim Santo, in partnership with Beacon School, provides tasty, healthy, nutritious, and sustainable food, creating organoleptic references, stimulating the acceptance of food through a varied and attractive menu, according to the needs of each age group, as outlined in Beacon School’s Nutritional Policy.
“Beacon’s Nutritional Policy aims to establish procedures and processes that ensure the nutritional quality of the meals served by Capim Santo, which provides breakfast, lunch, afternoon coffee and canteen services at the school,” adds the document.
