The Beacon Institute, in partnership with Beacon, is announcing the 2024 edition of the
Beija-Flor Program, which targets public school children born between April 1, 2013, and
March 31, 2014.
The program offers an intensive English course, classes in Portuguese, mathematics,
science, and current affairs, as well as sports and theater activities during the school day.
The benefits acquired by the students are significant, such as the acquisition of the English
language and progress in learning and socioemotional development.
At the end of the program, some students will be awarded the Jatobá Scholarship: a full
scholarship to attend Beacon School from the 6th year of Elementary School to the last year
of High School. Participants not awarded the Jatobá Scholarship will be referred to the
Institute’s partner schools for potential scholarships at other institutions.
● Number of Places: up to 13
● Start Date: February 2024
● End Date: December 2024
● Location: 1138 Mergenthaler Street – Vila Leopoldina – São Paulo (SP)
● Hours: from 1 pm to 5 pm, Monday to Friday
● Application Deadline: until September 29, 2023
In 6 editions, Beacon has graduated 47 students from Beija-Flor and currently offers 22
