The director Maria Eduarda Sawaya and the history teachers Julia Favaretoo and Layza Storer visited the School Jatobazinho, located in Pantanal, to explore possibilities of a Field Trip for Middle School students.
Breathtaking nature, thousands of years of history in rock painting, and the Pantanal lifestyle were some of the promising subjects that could be transformed into rich investigations.
The school Jatobazinho, maintained by “Instituto Acaia”, a Beacon partner, welcomes riverside children and carries out a leading project in the region. The school hosted our pedagogical team, who made close contact with the students and experienced the school routine.
This experience brought enriching learning moments. Beacon is thankful to Tereza Bracher, “Instituto Acaia” and school Jatobazinho, for the warm welcome, making this a memorable trip.
