Y5 students (11 years old) perform a PYP Presentation (Elementary School) at the “Exhibition 2017”. This event was a landmark towards Middle School.
The course began with the Passion Journey, in which teachers motivated students to get in touch with their interests, their doubts, their passions. Students were organized in groups, according to chosen themes, to welcome parents at school to share their choices and, since then, they got themselves completely dedicated to develop a Unit of Inquiry.
The process included planning, bibliographical survey, research, interview with specialists, writing and a seminar. The chosen themes were Marine Life, Sports Benefits, Reforestation, Food Waste and Help in Hospitals.
The conclusion was a presentation, attended by other students, parents, faculty and staff.
