Beija-Flor Program 2027: Applications Open Until September 30

Applications for the Beija-Flor Program are open until September 30. One of the initiatives of Instituto Beacon, the program supports children from public schools born between April 1, 2015, and March 31, 2016, who will be in 5th grade in 2027. The program offers an intensive English course, Portuguese, Mathematics, Science, and Current Affairs classes, as well as theater activities, during the school day.

At the end of the program, some students may be invited to receive the Jatobá Scholarship, a full scholarship covering 6th grade through the end of High School at Beacon School. Scholarships are awarded based on the funds raised by Instituto Beacon throughout the year. Students who are not awarded a scholarship may be referred to partner schools, where they may have the opportunity to apply for scholarships at other educational institutions.

Candidates for the Beija-Flor Program will be evaluated based on criteria including academic performance, development potential, interviews, participation in extracurricular activities, and socioeconomic needs. The selection process aims to identify students who can make the most of the opportunities offered by the program.
