Beacon began its journey over a decade ago in Early Childhood Education with 16 students. Today, the school has more than 1300 students across the three segments of the school curriculum. In order to accommodate the entire community we have formed, we have developed an expansion project called “Campus+,” which not only accompanies the growth of our campus but also the first graduating class of 2023.
We have grown in an integral, balanced, and courageous manner, with knowledge as our goal and investigation as our tool. As an IB School, we are open and sensitive to the reality and needs of the environment in which we live, seeking to inspire and be inspired. We share these values with our students, promoting an international education in dialogue with Brazilian roots.
The first stage of Campus+ was the High School building, inaugurated at the beginning of the 2023 academic year. The expansion primarily focuses on the experiences offered to students: in addition to new green areas for socializing, the creation of sports facilities and technology and science hubs enables balanced and organic learning. The new infrastructure represents a 50% increase in the campus area, featuring two football fields, five sports courts, laboratories, and studios available for student learning. Additionally, the new Design and Art Labs will serve as a stage for the development of students’ creative production.
