Beacon implements Online Learning

The new world scenario brought significant challenges to everyone due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Beacon recognizes the value of in-person classes based on relationships and that distance learning use to boost studies in times of emergency and need.

To fulfill the social distance needs on account of Covid-19, we developed our Distance Learning Plan, which provides guidelines to parents and students on digital and experiential education.

Beacon believes that it is necessary to think differently about our priorities when coping with challenging circumstances. We must embrace new opportunities for students to learn in an authentic and meaningful way.

The success of our distance learning actions is collaborative. It depends on our teaching staff’s careful planning, students’ motivation and engagement, and parents’ or guardians’ support. These learning experiences intend to expand the student’s academic progress and increase the feeling of well-being, socially and emotionally.

This challenge, which brings the opportunity to develop new skills and put our technological knowledge into practice, is intrinsically connected to ethical values, goodwill, and solidarity.

Our teachers are committed to developing meaningful activities daily, always keeping in touch remotely with their students using a wide variety of digital tools. It is a new way of teaching and learning!
