Last Friday, we held the 5th edition of Career Day, an event dedicated to encouraging Year 9 and high school students to reflect on their future careers. The program began with an inspiring talk by Cláudio Thebas—writer, clown, and educator—entitled “Who Do I Want to Be?” His thought-provoking and heartfelt speech invited students to reflect on identity, purpose, and the choices that shape their paths.
Throughout the day, professionals from various fields—including alumni, school families, and university professors—shared their experiences through engaging talks and workshops. Students had the opportunity to choose from a wide range of sessions in areas such as finance, marketing, design, psychology, technology, architecture, medicine, and the arts, among others.
This event is part of a structured career and college guidance curriculum offered by the school’s University and Career Counseling (UCC) department.
