The 2026 academic year began with a strong focus on collaboration, growth, and alignment with our pedagogical mission. Across all segments, staff engaged in moments of deep reflection, meaningful learning, and inspiring exchanges that set a positive and purposeful tone for the year ahead.
Our opening keynote with Professor Luciene Tognetta provided a powerful and emotional start to the week. Her presentation centered on the role of schools in fostering ethical coexistence, addressing bullying, and actively listening to the emotional needs of children and adolescents. Her insights supported our commitment to continuing educator development and guided the introduction of our new Anti-Bullying Policy, which will be implemented this year as part of our broader focus on social-emotional learning and student well-being.
Each cohort engaged in targeted professional development:
In addition to the pedagogical focus, all staff revisited key policies, safeguarding protocols, and updates on essential digital platforms. Our commitment to sustainability, diversity, and well-being,core values of our school, was reinforced through whole-school workshops and collaborative sessions.
The weeks also included team planning meetings, classroom setup, curriculum alignment, and cross-grade level collaboration in preparation for Open House events in early February.
Above all, what stood out was the energy, professionalism, and open-mindedness of our educators. As we begin another academic year, we do so with a deep sense of purpose and collective enthusiasm to make learning impactful, inclusive, and inspiring for every student. um profundo senso de propósito e entusiasmo coletivo para tornar a aprendizagem impactante, inclusiva e inspiradora para cada um de nossos alunos.
