We begin the school year celebrating achievements that truly reflect our commitment to academic excellence and to expanding real opportunities for our students.
At the end of last year, Ryan Miranda, Class of 2025, a student in the Jatobá Project at Instituto Beacon, was accepted with a full scholarship to the University of Notre Dame, one of the most prestigious universities in the United States, with an acceptance rate of only 7%.
Ryan will pursue a degree in Computer Science and Engineering at an institution internationally recognized for its excellence in teaching, ranked in the Top 10 for Best Undergraduate Teaching (U.S. News) and among the top 1% of universities worldwide.
This achievement symbolizes the impact of an education that combines academic rigor, individualized guidance, and a global perspective. More than an admission, it represents the outcome of an educational project that believes in each student’s potential and works to open doors that once seemed out of reach.
May this be just the first of many reasons to celebrate throughout the year!
