On October 9th and 10th, the operational team at Beacon underwent a refresher training on the “Lei Lucas”. This law, enacted in 2020, mandates the training of teachers and school staff in basic first aid principles, with a focus on accident prevention and response. It is a critically important training as it equips our team to act promptly in case of accidents, ensuring the safety of our students.
Another crucial aspect is the requirement for a first aid kit on the premises, guaranteeing that essential resources are readily available in case of need. Additionally, establishments must prominently display the certification that verifies that the professionals have been trained in accordance with the law.
