Beacon submitted works in the Visual Arts area at the “IB Virtual Conference 2020 – Reimagine the Future”. Olívia Soares Ribeiro, a 3rd grade (Y3) student, had her work selected to be part of the conference’s art exhibition, which takes place internationally, every year.
This year, the conference chose a new format – online – thus not adopting the traditional four-day event. The virtual conference platform was open for two weeks, so people had the opportunity to engage with education specialists, IB staff, colleagues, and expositors.
