Beacon presents the Reopening Plan to our school community

Beacon invited parents to a presentation meeting on the Reopening Plan, attended by the team of health professionals and the school direction. The webinar was a great opportunity to clarify doubts regarding the resumption of on-site classes, which, for now, continues without a confirmed date.

With social distancing, adults, teenagers and children face challenges and deprivations. It is with a sensitive eye that respects the physical, emotional and social needs of everyone that we are planning a safe return, creating a welcoming space, a space to listen and to speak, an empathetic and supportive one.

The new rules of interaction are being worked on with students and staff members, promoting an open reflection and raising awareness of individual and collective responsibilities for safety, health and well-being, as well as for ethical coexistence. Finally, the creation of a cooperative space, which values knowledge as a promoter of intellectual autonomy and transformation of society, as the role of children and teenagers is the focus of the work on the resumption of on-site classes.

In its reopening, Beacon will implement measures to prevent infection and control exposure to Covid-19, developed and validated in collaboration with Consultoria Einstein, from Hospital Albert Einstein, aiming at creating a safe environment for students, teachers and staff members. After completing the diagnostic mapping stage, Einstein-Beacon work team concluded the personalized safety and hygiene protocols for the Villa and the Campus.

Every member of our community must take care of themselves and others, with respectful, conscious and careful interactions. It is everyone’s responsibility to comply with the health and safety guidelines established by Beacon, multiplying our values of solidarity and collaboration; we must respect diversity and consider that some may need more help and care than others, in order to fulfill these standards.
