Beacon staff members take part in a fire drill

Staff members took part in a training regarding evacuation plans for situations of risk, prevention and evacuation capacity in case of fire. Beacon hired a specialized consulting company that has explained efficient and certified methodologies to be taken in troubling situations. For further improvements regarding this training, the school will have fire drills for staff and students, as part of their training. The evacuation plan is designed to the lead staff and students to a predefined location. This will be the second step of the training.

Escape routes signs will be added to common areas and classrooms, counting on trained staff members to coordinate the evacuation plan.

The hired specialized consulting company, “MC Soluções em Segurança”, began the partnership with the school with an in-depth study regarding points that directly interfere with the degree of safety, such as the structure of the building, vulnerable spaces, the profile of the internal team, and existing terms and procedures.
