In October, the Beacon School families gathered to promote the International Day, a Saturday filled with culture, traditions, games, music, dance and food from different countries and cultures.
The school community organized workshops related to the origins of their families. And that is how our students were able to experience the objective of this event, which was rich and diverse. Some of the workshops this year include Brazilian petecas, African Abayomi dolls, origami, Indonesian dance, flag creation, masks from various countries, Medieval knights, Canadian totems, the World Cup preview and much more.
It was a special day and what we liked the most: it was a full house!
