Replago is Y1 and Y2 students’ destination for end-of-year celebration

By Brayan Felippe

The first and second-year students (Y1 and Y2) took a trip to Replago in order to make connections between the discussions they had in class about autonomy, observe in loco the studies about biodiversity and promote critical understanding about the surrounding space.

Before leaving, the students packed their own bags, a special moment that included the participation of their families, thus improving their self-care and autonomy skills.

Camp Replago is a program that provides countless group experiences, offering nautical and adventure activities, sports, games, art workshops, night games, and parties, besides providing all the necessary support for the children and a balanced diet for the activities.

Seeking to reconcile the Y1 garden and Y2 biodiversity projects, both studied in class, the students had the autonomy to choose the activities they would like to do in the morning and afternoon. They ventured out on the banana boat and had several significant experiences, such as a boat ride, diving in the lake, playing in the sand, and exploring the biodiversity present in the surroundings.

The experience at Replago was fundamental for the growth and development of the students’ personal and problem-solving skills, helping them make decisions and face new challenges, and preparing and strengthening them for the coming years.
