The G2 Early Childhood Education classes participated this week in “Grandparents’ Tea,” an event that warmly welcomes grandparents and invites them to participate in activities with the children. The event begins with a welcome from the coordination team, followed by a singing session with songs in English and Portuguese learned in class. Families also took part in a poster-making workshop with photos of each family. The moment was concluded with a delicious snack prepared by the grandparents, bringing delicacies full of fond memories.
The event celebrates the encounter of generations and is part of the “We Belong” Inquiry Unit, where children learn about their families, community, and group relationships. Over two months, the classes participate in activities that highlight cooperation, sociability, and individual characteristics.
