G6 celebrates the end of the Early Childhood Education cycle

When we celebrate the end of a cycle, we also celebrate a new beginning. We have several reasons to celebrate with G6, one of the most important being the conclusion of Early Childhood Education and the beginning of Elementary School.

To mark the end of this very significant cycle, children and their family members participated in two special events on a single day: “End of Cycle Celebration” and “#hangout”!

During this year marked by the pandemic and social distancing, we planned a loving way to welcome students and celebrate 2020, a year full of resilience and partnership. Thus, we invited parents to accompany their children to go to school and, via a “drive-thru” system, they had a different and thrilling reception.

Beacon’s team of teachers and staff members welcomed each car and its family with a round of applause to deliver the Yearbook and a kaleidoscope. Then, children stayed at school for a different program, our #hangout! It was a get-together moment, with a movie and popcorn. During this day, they also received a commemorative and personalized T-shirt, symbolizing the closure of their path through Early Childhood Education and preparing to start another chapter in Elementary School.

Although challenging, this year was also one of many achievements for G6 students, and it was only possible due to the partnership, trust, and dedication of the entire Beacon Community!
