“Hospital Albert Einstein” consulting will validate Beacon’s reopening protocols

Beacon School, concerned with the health and safety of everyone on the return of on-site classes, established a partnership with Hospital Albert Einstein.

After board meetings to define the schedule and all the steps and teams involved in the project, we started the first stage with the visit of Einstein Consultancy to the Campus and Villa sites.

The visit was accompanied by the Einstein team consisted by a executive consultant, a health specialist and a doctor, together with Beacon’s director Luciana Leite and professional development coordinator, Lais Carvalho.

The evaluation of the physical structure included all school environments, such as classrooms, common spaces, nurse’s office, cafeterias, administrative areas and those of exclusive use of staff members, buses and vans used by students, among others.

Everything has been duly documented so that the school can be instructed on the adaptations that must be made and what investments are required before the reopening of its sites, the guiding principle being the ability to “contact tracing” everyone (students and staff members).

The joint work of the Einstein-Beacon team will validate the planning created by the school and develop protocols that aim to ensure the safety of students, teachers and staff members, prioritize on-site activities, minimize possibilities of contagion and educate the school community on good behavioral practices for the return. The next steps include the evaluation of students and staff members’ profiles and understanding our school routine.

We are sure that the return will be a great challenge, but we are even more sure that our school will be ready to welcome everyone as safe as possible.
