To celebrate Beacon School’s t 10th anniversary, we have expanded the principal and managing team by bringing in a new director, Audrey Peverell. Audrey will be on the school’s Executive Committee with the three current directors: Luciana Leite, Maria Eduarda Sawaya, and Vera Nicol Giusti.
Expanding Beacon’s administration team reinforces our commitment to offering an excellent education program. We invest in consistent growth, counting on highly qualified professionals.
Audrey will focus on pedagogical work, co-leading the planning of a challenging program for high school and contributing to broadening the school’s international perspective. Audrey will also take part in the Beacon Board of Directors.
Audrey has extensive experience in education, has worked as a teacher, school counselor, pedagogical director, and general director at several international institutions.
Audrey holds a degree in Psychology and Political Science from Western University (Ontario, Canada). She attended a Montessori Education course from London Montessori Center (England). She also holds a master’s degree in International Education from Oxford Brookes University (England), and took the Head of School program from Columbia University (USA). Throughout her career, she has specialized in the International Baccalaureate programs, having worked as a member of the PYP-IB assessment committee and as a speaker and workshop leader in several countries.
Born in Argentina, Audrey grew up in Venezuela and lived in several countries, such as Switzerland, France, United States, and Brazil, where she worked at Graded School. Fluent in four languages (Spanish, English, Portuguese, and French), Audrey is a “world citizen.”
