Recently, the Elementary School held Student Council sessions, in which students represent their classes and bring their concerns to the pedagogical administration. This project, initiated in 2012, has already become a tradition, encouraging students to develop a sense of responsibility by selecting and presenting their classmates’ requests. During the sessions, students improve skills such as communication, critical thinking, and teamwork, while also committing to collective causes and democratic decisions that impact the school.
Before the meetings, each class elects a male and a female representative, with students reflecting on their vote and prioritizing the selection of peers who best represent the collective, in line with the principles of the Learner Profile. This experience prepares students for civic responsibilities and highlights the importance of listening to different perspectives within the school community.
