Beacon Campus hosted the event ” Compartilhar”, the first closing event of the cycle of Judo Optional Activities.
The families were invited to attend the presentation, which took place in the school gymnasium and included the participation of students from G5 (5 years old) to 5th grade (Y5). Through a playful circuit, the main objective of the activities was to work on the value of courage.
Flávio Canto’s methodology, created by the former judo player, seeks to promote human development and social integration through sports and education. “Build, Conquer, and Share” are the three stages that make up the pedagogical character of the process.
Organized by Cicclo 3C, Beacon’s Judo partner, the event promoted an integration action between private schools and social projects. Its closing will take place at the end of this year.
During the presentation, students between five and eleven years old joined with teenagers from the Roldão Institute to face a series of challenges. The circuit was composed of jumps, the passage through a dark tunnel, and the execution of a judo move against the Olympic athlete – all guided by the notion of courage and fear confrontation. The students had the symbol of courage placed on their kimono, strengthening the perception of the importance of evolution inside and outside the tatami.
