The G5 teacher Maria Angélica Ayres released the children’s book “O Coelho Chocolate e a Pedrinha Preciosa,” a bilingual fable that brings repetitive phrases and ends with a special message. The repetition technique that is fundamental for the formation of linguistic awareness of young children builds the phonological perception, the basis of the reader’s formation.
Coelho Chocolate lives in a city where everyone has a necklace. His, however, does not have a precious stone like that of the other residents. The rabbit then begins a search for his stone, and from there he lives several adventures and learnings.
Lica, as she likes to be called, fulfilled an old dream of writing a book and was honored at the book launch event by the presence of Beacon’s teachers, parents, students, and directors.
