Back to school in a hybrid model

New backpacks and uniforms, firm steps and, at the same time, wary. Prepared, standing in lines and maintaining social distance, they wait for the temperature check and the teachers’ welcoming, who received them with affection and enthusiasm.

The curious look does not hide the anxiety to meet the new teachers, to get to know the classroom and the routine of this new academic year that is just beginning. Children and teenagers returned to face-to-face classes excited to see their classmates and explore the school spaces. The old hugs of the reunion gave place to creative greetings and, of course, to the smiles expressed in the looks of complicity.

Since March 2020, when the pandemic situation worsened in Brazilian territory in an unprecedented scenario, we have literally learned a new way to connect. Since then, we have used technological tools that have made distance learning possible. After months of study, hard work, the adaptation of all parts, and constant adjustments, we perfected the remote model and learned together!

Today, Beacon is proud to present the Plan to Resume Classes in a hybrid format, respecting the rules imposed by the government, both concerning the maximum occupancy of the buildings and health protocols. In a safe, welcoming, and careful way, we are ready to offer the best possible, maintaining our commitment to the entire school community.
