Considering the holistic development of students and with the aim of expanding opportunities for experiences and learning beyond regular school hours, Beacon School offers Elective Programs throughout the school year, as well as during vacation periods.
For students from Early Childhood Education to High School, Beacon offers a wide range of Elective Activities that include sports, arts, technology, as well as wellness and sustainability. These activities aim to help students develop various skills, explore different areas of interest, and achieve autonomy through their choices.
Offered to students aged 2 to 5 during the after-school period, the program promotes a balance between individual and group activities, as well as between guided and free experiences. Its flexible structure allows families to choose the days of the week and the times when their children will remain at school. Winter Camp: held in July, the program provides a fun holiday experience with games, recreational activities, sports, art and cooking, as well as field trips and presentations.
We promote sports as a way to foster integration among students, encouraging the development of physical, cognitive, and social–emotional skills through guided and inclusive sports activities.
Competitive Sports play an important role in the holistic development of our students, strengthening ethical values, respect for rules and others, and encouraging sportsmanship, cooperation, commitment, and teamwork.
We explore the diversity of artistic languages in different forms of expression. Each one opens doors to imagination, allowing students to immerse themselves in new worlds and connect emotionally with the world around them. Art transcends borders and languages, inspiring our students and encouraging meaningful reflection.
Throughout our STEM programs, students develop strategic thinking, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills, while deepening their understanding of mathematical concepts essential to scientific thinking. They also apply this knowledge in hands-on projects focused on technology and innovation.
Nature plays a fundamental role in the physical, emotional, and social development of children. With a strong focus on sustainability education, we provide scientific, artistic, and movement-based experiences that strengthen students’ connection with the environment. In doing so, they develop environmental awareness and explore concrete ways to build a more sustainable future.
